LACE UP AND EXPLORE WITH RUNNING ROUTES IN PALMA MALLORCA

Whether you're a casual jogger or a dedicated runner, Palma’s scenic routes offer the perfect balance of nature, culture, and movement. From urban sprints to coastal jogs and hilltop climbs, these three routes are ideal for discovering the city on foot while staying active.

CITYSCAPE SPRINT - 3KM URBAN ADVENTURE

If you’re short on time but want a dose of Palma’s historic heart, this 3KM route delivers. Start by running along the vibrant Paseo del Borne, weaving past Plaza Juan Carlos I and architectural gems like Parroquia de Sant Jaume. As you continue, find tranquility in Plaça de Santa Magdalena and admire the iconic 200-year-old ficus tree in the garden of La Misericordia Library.

Head down Via Roma and Avenida Portugal, taking in the urban elegance of Paseo Mallorca before reaching Parc de Sa Feixina. If you’re a foodie, make a quick detour to Santa Catalina Market for local flavors. Wrap up your loop by returning along Avenida Gabriel Roca, just a short distance from Ocho.

SEASIDE SOJOURN: EXPLORING EL MOLINAR ALONG THE COASTLINE

Looking for ocean views and a fresh breeze? This 5-6KM run offers a beautiful experience along Palma’s iconic waterfront. Begin at Paseo Marítimo, passing the majestic Palma Cathedral, and continue toward the charming areas of Portixol and El Molinar.

This coastal stretch is perfect for a leisurely run or interval training, with inviting beaches and waterfront restaurants lining the way. Stop for a refreshing drink or a post-run dip in the Mediterranean before looping back along the serene promenade.

HARBOUR TO HILLTOP - 6 KM RUN TO BELLVER CASTLE

Ready for a challenge? This 6 km route takes you from the sea to the sky. Begin along Avenida Gabriel Roca (Paseo Marítimo) and follow the curve of Palma’s harbor until you reach Carrer de Joan Miró. From there, ascend Carrer de Bellver and head into the forest trail leading up to the iconic Bellver Castle.

The climb is worth it – panoramic views over Palma await at the top. The peaceful Bellver forest offers a natural break from the city, with picnic spots for a quick rest before descending the same route back to Ocho.
