What: Es Trenc is considered one of Mallorcas, and of some even one of Europe´s, most beautiful beaches. It´s a natural beach, a part of a national park, which means you do not have people renting out sunbeds or offering water scooters etc. Here are only a few restaurants and beach bars, so called “chiringuitos”. You can also spot a small number of umbrellas. The sand is very smooth and completely white. The water is crystal clear and turquoise. This beach is suitable for everyone including small children.
Where: This beautiful beach stretches for two and a half kilometers between the villages of Sa Rápita and Colonia de Sant Jordi, only 50 kilometer south east of Palma. If you don´t have a car, you can take the local bus to one of the villages nearby, and from there take a taxi the last kilometers. If you have a car, it´s easy to just follow the signs. There are two exits for Es Trenc, but they are equally good and will take you to the same beach. Find it on a map here.
Fun to know: This beach is one of Mallorcas most visited beaches for nudists.
We recommend: Bring your own picnic, umbrella and snorkeling gear and find a nice spot in the sand. Stroll along the seaside and just enjoy this beautiful beach. If you don´t like eating on your blanket, go to one of the “chiringuitos”. We can highly recommend, Bar Esperanza. Here you can find great fresh food, good drinks with a nice atmosphere. Make sure to book your table during high season.
With its turquoise water and white sand, this is definitely worth a visit.
